"Balancing the Energies Within & Without" Workshop

Shamanic Wheel Wisdom & Chakra Sound Healing Workshop

WEDNESDAY, September 16th (3:00-5:30)

We invite you to gift yourself an afternoon away from the noise — long enough to hear your heart again.

Life doesn't move in a straight line. It moves in circles and cycles, the way the seasons turn and the way our own energy rises and falls. This gathering is a chance to slow down, take stock of where you are, and gently come back into balance — in two connected parts.
HERE'S HOW YOU'LL BE GUIDED THROUGH OUR TIME TOGETHER:
PART ONE — Opening Drum & The Medicine Wheel: A Student's Teaching

Jane Finn from Whispering Winds will open the afternoon with a short meditation and drumming to ground the circle and settle everyone into the space, before moving into a shamanic teaching.

As a student of this path, she'll share her knowledge and insights about the four directions and elements of the Medicine Wheel: the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of who we are and guide the group through how each of these shows up in daily life.

Participants will complete a simple self-assessment to help them notice where their energy feels grounded and where it feels blocked or depleted. This isn't a lecture from an expert. It's an invitation to look at your own wheel, guided by what Jane has learned along the way.

PART TWO — Tuning Forks, Chakra Balancing & Closing Drum with Valerie

From there, Valerie of Feathers of Light Healing will guide us on a full-body journey back to balance.

She'll open with a gentle Qi Gong warm-up to awaken the body and settle the breath, followed by grounding and energetic alignment work including her assemblage point technique to help you feel rooted and connected.

Conscious breathing and awareness practices will create more space in the body, inviting a felt sense of aliveness in every cell.

From there, precise tuning fork frequencies guide a chakra exploration and balancing session, opening into a heart-centred connection with the earth, the sun, and the wider cosmos.

Valerie will close the sacred space with drumming and invocation, leaving the group in a state of deep relaxation and calm — nervous system reset, and ready to "rest & digest."

Guided by:
Jane Finn - Whispering Winds Horses
Valerie Midanik - Feathers of Light

HOW THE TWO SESSIONS WORK TOGETHER

Think of it this way: the first half helps you see — where your energy is flowing freely, and where it's stuck. The second half helps you feel your way back into balance, through sound and vibration. One offers a map; the other offers the medicine to walk it. And the drumming that opens and closes the afternoon holds it all inside a single circle. Fitting, since the Medicine Wheel itself is a teaching about cycles.
